A Year on the Ocean

The dark and mucky waters,
Down and underneath,
Only one single drop of dew
On one shredding of leaf.
The sun shines happily
On the sunny days ahead,
Creates tiny dreams wafting
To all the sleepy heads.

The crew wake up and walk the boat
To break the motionless tide.
The sunny days have come and gone all year,
But now its time to pack up,
Leave and try not to shed a tear.
